Thunder Bay Chill

2021 Fall Indoor Soccer Recreational Program

Welcome to the 2021 Fall Indoor Chill Recreational Program

As of September 15th, Government of Ontario Announcement

As of September 15th, the Government of Ontario released the following:

Organized team sports in indoor facilities are one area that has been identified by the Government of Ontario to require proof of full vaccination for access to indoor facilities for all persons 18 and older.

PLEXII is located in the Tournament Centre – 2050 Mountain Road and it falls into this category.

Anyone over the age of 18 (players, parents, guardians, adult family members, and general adult spectators, etc.) are required by the Government of Ontario to show proof of full vaccination and one piece of identification before entering indoor facilities for organized team sports

The Government of Ontario announced the following exemptions for:

  • Players and spectators who are under 12 years of age;
  • Players who are under 18 years of age, solely for the purpose of actively participating in an organized sport.

We are sending this message to you to provide clarity when the season starts October 16, 2021. Players will enter the facility with a mask and then remove it when they enter the field. Adults over 18 years of age will need to show proof of vaccination and one piece of identification at the door to be allowed entry. Upon entry, adults will need to wear a mask for the entirety of their stay at the facility while watching.

We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause some families. Our Club is not debating the vaccine issue but we must follow the rules that the government sets. All families have the option to drop off and pick up player at the end of the session. We also will have 24/7 live stream availability for interested adults who are not vaccinated. We can appreciate this may be challenging for a parent or guardian of a younger child.

In light of the recent message by the government, please ensure you are able to adhere by these protocols prior to registering your child.

Communication email will be sent the week of October 10th for parents to check our website to see player teams and schedules.

Thank you for your understanding.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. There are increased protocols and waivers around concussions and our current health state regarding the pandemic so please review carefully. To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa or MasterCard information available.  Following the completion of this registration, you will see a charge on your account and please ensure you review the information letter identifying protocols,  times and field location to report on the first day.

Your son/daughters health is our main priority as we return to play. It is also imperative that all players have a responsibility to others involved.
